Now you may think the title of this post odd, but let me explain.
After coming home from our family reunion last weekend, I found my wife in the house hiding a paper from me. She called me into the other room and then excitedly showed me the paper. It was my acceptance letter from Western States. I now believe that the admissions staff at WSCC needs therapy. They had a chance to review my essay questions, grades, and even my recommendation letters. I thought that would be enough to stop them. Surely they had enough info about me to realize that it would be a big mistake to let me in. Apparently that was not enough. Perhaps they should include psychological profiling and IQ testing to the admissions process.
Now, if you couldn't tell I was joking, shame on you! I am really excited to begin school in the fall at WSCC and meeting old and new friends. There is a girl in my Ochem class at PSU that is also starting in the Fall term. Hopefully I am well prepared to begin, although my first Ochem exam left me reeling. I am going to have to spend a whole lot of time studying and doing not much else.
Hopefully I will be seeing some of you there - you know who you are.... Erik - you intimidate me!!!! (LOL)
Best wishes for a fantastic summer to all, I will be enjoying it from the binding of the really thick textbook that I desire to burn....
